Discovering the Power in Me was designed to assist people whose futures have been unintentionally changed, leaving them with a physical disability. While many programs exist to help people to rehabilitate their bodies, a tragically small number of resources are available to help heal their minds. Until now.
This 12 unit session has been developed by The Pacific Institute and officially launched in the United States on April 1, 2009. Using the same principles of cognitive psychology that TPI has used to help groups and individuals around the world for almost 40 years, this video based learning experience is tailor made for differently-abled teenagers and adults. Each unit is introduced and summarized by program graduates who are differently-abled in some way. Here is a short promotional video to show you more about this powerful program.
