Over the nearly 40 years that The Pacific Institute has been working with adults in corporate, military, and other organizational settings, a common question has risen from many of our graduates:  “Do you have anything for my kids?”  Well now, that answer is an emphatic:  “YES!”

PX2 is a 12 unit, video based program focused on students aged 12-24.  It includes all of the same principles of cognitive psychology that The Pacific Institute has translated from the research of Stanford’s Al Bandura, Pennsylvania’s Martin Seligman, and San Fransisco State University’s David Matsumoto, only optimized for a younger, more media savvy audience.  The videos feature Lou Tice (Chairman and co-founder of TPI) explaining how the mind works, and how someone can use their mind to positively affect their lives.  The potential of each human is nearly limitless, and it is many times the mind that holds someone back from success.

PX2 is often experienced in groups of 8-25 with an officially trained PX2 facilitator.  If your group or team desires to achieve a common goal, participation as a group will help to create a common language and path for that.  Understanding the relationship of one’s own thoughts to actions will help with team communication on nearly every level.  Please contact me at zparsons@pac-inst.com for details on how to implement PX2 to your group or team.

For groups or teams with scheduling difficulties, or for individual students, we also have PX2 available online.

We have an several success stories to share with you from the world of sports.  Click below to see a testimony from Pete Carroll from the University of Southern California, as well as more information on implementing PX2 into the world of individual and team sports.
