PX2 Sports: Swimming

The first documented application of The Pacific Institute’s curriculum in sports goes all the way back to the 70′s.  Brian Goodell went through the education as a 15 year old with hopes for great success in swimming.  His story is told in the video below.

The Pacific Institute’s work with Olympic swimmers did not stop there.  In the fall of 2008, many members of the US National Swim Team experienced PX2 at Lou Tice’s Ranch in Twisp, WA.  Here are some quotes from their experience:

“My life is different because I feel more comfortable in different situations.  What Lou said about stretching our comfort zones and letting our imaginations fill in the rest has stuck out to me.  I feel better going into unknown situations now than I did before the seminar. “

and

“I have shared a lot of the goal concepts with my team.  We have all really been working on setting high goals and one of them is no negative talk on deck or in the pool.  It has changed the atmosphere of the workouts from being dull to a lot more energy and excitement.”
