Churchgoing people tend to be happier and more satisfied than their areligious peers - but why? A new survey finds that the key to their sanguine disposition may have more to do with friends than faith. People who attend religious services and have rich networks of church-based friends reported more life satisfaction than those who go to church but have few or no friends in the congregation.
